Divergent by Veronica Roth - this book is one of my all-time favorites and the best dystopian novel I have ever read.
The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare - this is the prequel series to The Mortal Instruments and it is set in London in the 19th century. I love it way more than TMI. It has the ultimate love triangle. You will fall in love with the characters and you will laugh and cry and die of feels, while reading these books.
Bloodlines by Richelle Mead - a spin-off series of Vampire Academy. There will be six books in this series, 3 are out. These books are amazing. Just trust me on this. They're amazing.
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo - this is the BEST high fantasy book OF ALL TIME. I recommend this, even if you don't usually read high fantasy. I don't, but this was amazing.
It will be a trilogy and I can't wait for the other two books to come out.
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead - this is the series you should probably read before starting Bloodlines. Luckily, it's amazing as well. Trust me, you do not want to miss out on this. Don't give up after the first one. They get better and better. (Also, my favorite character doesn't appear until the second one.) There are six books in this series.
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi - This dystopia-meets-the-Xmen series is awesome. The first one is pretty good, but the second one is AMAZING. It has one of the most confusing love triangles I have ever read about.
Everneath by Brodi Ashton - a very original modern retelling of a Greek myth, with great characters.
Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder - another really great high fantasy book. This is one of those books that you just can't out down.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green - It's amazing but it's also incredibly sad and it will make you cry. So I'd recommend it, but only if you're okay with feeling down for a day or two. (But it's worth it. ;))
The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa -This is the best fairy series of all time. While the first book is not the greatest, they get better and better, and by the last book you will cry because you won't want to say goodbye to these characters.
If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern -I like most of Cecelia Ahern's books, but this one is my favorite. It's a bit weird and unusual, but also incredibly sweet and heartwarming.
And if you like this kind of books, you might also want to check out The Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern. It's magical and beautiful.
Delirium by Lauren Oliver - This is a dystopian series, set in a future, where love is considered a disease. The first book in this series is amazing.
